DIY Skimmer...
The following is an interesting thread I came across on ReefCentral in the DIY forum.
Have you ever thought of making your own skimmer? How about making one out of a 5 or 10 gallon water bottle. Well, here is a guy who has done so. It is a long thread but is a very good read.
One thing is for sure. It is definitely not a pretty skimmer but give him major credit for his work.
